FREE Ensembles 

 

Choose from a variety of FREE ensembles - available to musicians AGE 10 & up. All levels of experience are welcome. Open enrollment has started for classes 1/12/2021 - 2/11/2021

During the months of ensembles, participants will learn ensemble repertoire, music production, and how to make various collaborative recording projects.

  • FREE ‘Soundtrap’ - web-based music production software

  • Online Video Lessons from SoundTrap Department of Sound 

  • Create and record music with others

  • Participate from home or at school

  • Ages 10 and up

  • Choose from a variety of musical styles

  • Develop your skills in singing, rapping, instrumental technique, and producing

  • Learn a variety of musical styles

  • Gain insight into music business and production 

  • Learn how to create online music projects on your own and with others

  • Learn how to take your musical skills into the professional world

  • Borrow free instruments courtesy of Musicalandria 

  • Most of all...it’s FUN!!!

Schedule & Descriptions 

 

West African Drums* 

Description: Participants will learn the traditions, cultural relevance, and how to play drums of West Africa. Including Djembes, Dun-duns, and bells. 

Tuesdays/Thursdays 2:30pm - 3:30pm

Vocal Ensemble*

Description: Participants will learn how to explore singing techniques, improve sight-reading skills, and perform music in a variety of styles.

Description:

Thursdays  4:00pm - 5:00pm

Hip Hop Ensemble*

Description: Participants will learn different approaches for composing Hip Hop, how to make beats, rhyming techniques, and recording with other musicians. MC's and Lyricist will receive coaching and recording opportunities.

Rock Band

Description: Choose from guitar, keyboard, bass, drums, and vocals. Participants will learn a variety of songs and study different compositional techniques, improve sight-reading, and record music with fellow Participants.
